Room Rentals

The Seniors’ Centre has a number of flexible spaces available for rent and can accommodate groups ranging from 20 to over 100 people.

Plenty of free parking, wheelchair access, convenient bus service and nearby vendors and restaurants will enhance the experience of your members and guests.

Main Room

Holds up to 70 people, round tables, terracotta tile, projector screen, sound system & microphones, and next to kitchen and washrooms.

Non-profits: $30 per hour
Commercial: $50 per hour

Entrance Hall

Suitable for receptions, exhibits, arts and craft sales, and displays. Terracotta tile, limited number of electrical outlets.

Non-profits: $20 per hour
Commercial: $30 per hour

Jesse's Room

Carpeted room holding up to 35 people, square tables seatings of 4. Quiet & intimate.

Non-profits: $25 per hour
Commercial: $30 per hour

Card Room

Bright window, linoleum floor, suitable for exercise/dance or art classes. Direct access to parking lot. Holds up to 35 people.

Non-profits: $25 per hour
Commercial: $30 per hour

Terms & Conditions:

Rental spaces are normally available from 4pm until 11 pm on weekdays, and from 8 am until 11 pm on weekends. Access outside of our Centre hours is by key and the use of an alarm code.

Renters may be asked for a security deposit of $50 (for non-profits) or $250 for commercial rentals. Extra cleaning costs may be levied.

The Centre does not normally do set-up and tear-down, but please talk to our front desk for special requirements.

Cancellation: Must notify the Society during our regular business hours at least 72 hours in advance of the rental contract. Insufficient notice may mean that any security deposit is non-refundable.

Insurance Coverage:

Renters must provide the Centre with an insurance certificate containing the following:

  • CGL General Liability insurance of not less than $3,000,000 which includes Public Liability and Property Damage for non-alcoholic functions.
  • The Society must be a named insured as well as the City of Campbell River.
  • There must be a Cross Liability Clause/Severability of interest.
